Overdue

This kid was born ten days overdue so I guess it is fitting that his birthday post is overdue!  He is three now!  ...And devilishly handsome, might I add.  He was so funny on his birthday.  He actually was a complete stinker for the entire week of his birthday.  Could be because he had a birthday supper, a late night to Disney On Ice, another birthday supper, and then a birthday party in the span of six days.  Add preschool and dance into the mix and the week was just way too busy for one little three year old guy. 

At B's request it was a pajama party with a dinosaur theme.  We all wore our pajamas and there were eight little ones pinning the tail on the T-Rex, making pizza and watching The Land Before Time.  My favourite moment of the night though was captured above.  On the morning of his birthday, B had a late request that he wanted us all to jump out and surprise him.  I told him that because his friends were getting dropped off at 4pm it probably wouldn't work because he would already be here.  He was tuckered out from his busy week, though and he took a nap that day.  In fact, he was still sleeping when everyone arrived.  So we all hid behind curtains and couches and then jumped out and yelled, "Surprise!" when RKA brought him downstairs.  What's better than a birthday wish fulfilled?  Just look at that face!  My love for this guy is endless!
