We reluctantly brought these lovely boots with us to the lake...
And yes, we did need them...
Especially on that first rainy afternoon spent on the throwing rocks in the lake...repeatedly...
One of us was crazy enough to jump in...
While others had the good sense to stay inside where it was warm and dry...
Some perched on the porch...
While others found themselves shirtless on the lakeshore...
But in the end we all found ourselves cozied up on a raft...huddled together for warmth!
Hey if I had Fairy boots I'd be happy to wear 'em. And good on you RKA for going for the gusto, yah!!
ReplyDeletePorch perching - well I must confess I would probably be found in that vicinity as well, but likely with a vino in hand watching the 'shirtless' wonder ... so much like his Dad or what?! :) :) :)
Good company always makes times fun, it's not the weather that does it - looks like you had a great weekend after all.
If we are being honest, B started the whole jumping in the lake fad and he was the only one who managed to find his way in every single day.
