Character.

Photobucket

Most would agree that if you surveyed our family and friends you would find many colourful characters among the group. Not to name any names but we do have our fair share of individuals with their own unique flavour. It is actually RKA's individuality that I first was drawn to. There is something to be said to marching to the beat of your own drum. Thinking outside the box. Daring to be different. Okay, so now you may be picturing piercings in weird places but really I am just talking about having the character to know who you are and to not apologize for it. I guess it takes a lot of self confidence to have character. Here's to hoping that this little character continues to develop his self confidence as he grows. So far I would describe his character as adventurous, curious, fearless, sensitive, and loyal. Oh yeah, and hilarious. He is 19 months old now and just this morning jumped out of his crib, opened his door, pitter-pattered right beside my sleeping head and very proudly said, "Hiiii!". He now calls his sister, "Bee" and is constantly asking for her if she is not around. He really looks up to her and tries to follow all of her dance moves. He is such an enthusiastic little character!
